The common argument is that Devourer is good against people who don't have skill, not that he takes little skill. Hate to be the bearer of bad news... Yes, if you sit there and let him walk up to you and ult you when you have half health, there's a good chance you'll die.
Swift is one of the only viable melee carries at the moment, I don't think he's really that strong unless you completely fail to counter pick against him, he's just unique.

I was the one playing dev and I was playing no stats nubs shit because I'm trial so I guess he is just a nubstomp hero.
Hint: stop playing games with "noobs" or "1400" in the title and the players tend to be better. =p
Nice job though, I haven't gotten an Immortal yet.
Yeah, actually, i've found 1500 or 1550+ games to be just as bad as AP noob only games...
When i was 1600+, back when I actually still played a lot, I'd still get retarded players in those games who were carried there by friends. There are just noobs everywhere i guess.

...Dark Lady? She rapes everything post-shrunken head with some life steal. She is by far the most powerful hero, even higher than Chronos with her silence.
Then again, back then, SB did seem to rule the fields of battle.
I also miss the Beta days, when 80k people would be on. I am surprised when theres 30k on now-a-days.
TDL can instagib uncoordinated teams, but against good teams she's pretty weak because she only has sslows and splash from her dive. Basically, against a TDL with a Runed Axe you just need to recognize that if she dives through a creep wave and you're next to it, you're going to get splashed for one hit times each creep in that wave. Ie: A shit ton of damage, instantly. So don't stand near creep waves and she loses a ton of her effectiveness. Also, Void Talisman makes her completely useless.
So yeah, she's strong with Runed Axe+BKB, but until that point she's incredibly weak, unlike Chronos who has a massive AoE disable or Swiftblade who has ~10 seconds of magic immune or invulnerability. She's much more lategame than the two of them.
Also, new patch with tons and tons of things copied from LoL coming soon.
Casual mode is casual, why not just remove denying if they're just going to still give them full exp? I guess it lets you keep your lane from pushing too far and you deny gold, but I think it's a stupid idea that doesn't really add anything to the game.

The only thing I see copied from LoL is casual mode, which still isnt really copied from LoL. Idejder pretty much said they didnt use any outside influence.
Gold/Coin is apparently HoN's equivalent to mixing Riot Points and Influence Points for special stuff. I expect it to be like Nexon, where it's a timed item.
Had a crazy game today as Witch. Our team makeup wasn't the best (no carry ftw), and I had to solo as WS, but it wound up pretty good. We also had a really rough time about halfway through, and almost conceded a couple times. In the end, we somehow managed to always CC their sand wraith, and somehow pulled out the win.
Had an amazing play as WS, where me and two of my other teammates were the only ones left up after a teamfight, along with their SW. Kraken thought he might be konging and we decided to check. When I came to kong from the legion side, i noticed my pk cooldown going up, signaling that his dissipate was damaging me from kong. I blind stunned him from up on the hill above kong, and gave me enough time to miniaturize him before he could run away, and also allowed us to kill him.
Mostly the editor, for me. I actually prefer the standard models. (I even still use the beta Electrician sound set.)
Is that a remodel of Abaddon/Accursed? The dark looking knight-armour Hero, that is.
The one I posted with wings? That's actually Moon Queen. If your talking about the actual Knight looking guy, that is SS. You can tell by the way his model is hunched, his hands and "tail/legs" are positioned.
Symmetry shouted: Man I wish we had this tech back in the day when people played ums lmao

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.
Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
