Hai!

Well, I have been looking for a Naver account for quite a long time now, in order to fetch some great korean maps from cafes that are led by people who have failed to have realized that if they make download account-protected, then the map won't be as much played. Idiots. Anyways, the main question is this..

In case you, whoever reads this post, own a Naver account, and would not be afraid to give me your username/password for merely downloading purposes (I don't even know what else I could do with it..), then please do so. Thanks in advance! :)

Just here for the activity... well not really

People who have Naver accounts are Koreans, and they take it seriously because it's like MySpace + Google + Hotmail combined (a social network). Something more important, a social security number is required to create one.
My point is, Naver is serious.

Besides, I doubt anyone even has one.

Thigh high affectionado

You're asking someone to hand over an account thats binded to a KSSN. This is Identy Theft in the eyes of an admin.

What you could do is visit South Korea and ask them ;o

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

Luckily, I still got one! Yay!!! Topic resolved. I downloaded quite a few korean maps, except for what I truly wanted to get it for, as they want you to be part of the clan and have a higher level account on their Cafe. Damn you, Cafe.naver.com/missilewarfare !!!

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new

Oh_Man -- makes me wonder if SEN knows anything about the topic
