is it possible to bypass the requirements of upgrading? tier 2 weapons and armor of infantry for Terran requires a Science Facility, and that doesnt make me a happy camper
im pretty sure the only way of doing this is by placing a Science Facility somewhere that isn't used on the map, but the problem is i dont have any room.

There is no way to do so, but for the upgrade levels 4-255 you do not need any building.
Means: make standart upgrade level of the upgrade you want to level 3 and you can upgrade these upgrades without any required building.

yeah thats what i ended up doing, but then i realized that the workers are going to have +3 armor, and there too tough. im just goona drop their HP down alot. ty

Or you could raise everything's damage by 3. (Anything that didn't get bonus armor from you setting the upgrade to level 3 will need its armor raised by 3 as well.)

well it depends, sometimes upgrades give 2 to damage, so a +3 would end up being 6 extra damage.
im pretty sure you can set it to 1 but i forgot where

Oh right. Forgot about zealots and firebats. Are you using those units?

Well, if you have +3 armor, the +6 is negated, due to the double attack.

Oh right.

What FTS is saying is that those units attack twice, so armor has double the effect on their attacks.
