Scarab as a skill

In my map, I am trying to make it so when you unload a unit, it'll move a scarab of a Computer player to Current player. I've got the transferring down, but I cannot get it to be given to the Current player. I have a trigger that says when you bring a scarab to the location the characters at, it'll be giving to the Current player. I can't tell if the scarab is mines though because on the map it doesn't have a color. Another note that might be useful, I have the Reavers attacking a unit that is blocked off by a Dark Templar, but it still should work the same way correct?
Another problem is when the scarab is transferred to me, it just flies towards the top left. Anyone know how I can overcome these problems?

None.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

HERE's a topic that pretty much answeres everything.

Sure blocking the scarab works fine.

Scarabs Map
You can't give scarabs to another player, the only option is to have a computer player (that is in enemy status with the possible targets) control the scarab(s). If you don't want random, there is the Set Generic command...

The only problem with using a computer is that the computer can sometimes splash you.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
