Well, I was thinking about how Speed really fucks me over on alot of concepts, and TiKels was telling me about it, and then for some odd reason, Ahli popped in my head. I resulted with the following idea:
Now, it's probably a long shot, but couldn't you copy the same trigger over and over and over again, so that it keeps running and overlaps until the next trigger cycle? Much like Hypers being copied 5 times, but this time... with like, bigger numbers.

This is more for theory's sake, not for practical use. (Though I may try it in a map)

I don't quite understood you but probably no, you can't, because the next trigger cycle (even the next frame) won't start till all triggers are executed. This causes map lags.

This.

No matter how many triggers you have, they will all be checked and executed before the game can move on. Hence I see this topic as useless for now. If you find something interesting in this field, feel free to PM it to me or any other mod and we'll gladly re-open it.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new

Oh_Man -- makes me wonder if SEN knows anything about the topic
