The sword and the faith

Slowly but surely, we're getting better. In time we could have a SEN competitive team.

I'm terrible still, I don't think I have the patience for the game but I'll stay at it for another month or so, I guess.

It seems like too much strategy and not enough actual execution. Whenever it's a 1v1 battle I just get raped because I don't know almost any of the heroes attacks and so I don't know what to dodge, look out for, when to run, etc. Either I have the advantage and he knows when to run, or I don't and don't realize it until too late. In mass battles it's just spam all of my spells at the biggest mass of their heroes. So I die a lot and don't kill too much except when I gank.

I guess the biggest difference from Temple Siege is that most heroes deal a huge majority of their damage in spells, not in their actual attacks. So to know what to do with a enemy hero you need to know all of their spells, which is something like 250, and that's only with a third or so of the heroes from DotA. There's very little micro except kiting, AoE, and last hitting, which are all pretty easy.

And I think the server just crashed. =o

The sword and the faith

The new patch went live an hour or so ago and they just can't handle the load with all the people patching up. They're going to release a seperate 1.30.0 installer for those of us having update problems. Damn it's good to be an S2 moderator.

Stay tuned guys.

Are you sure about that?

Madman:
- Stalk grants a 50% movement speed increase, down from 500%
* This still gives him maximum movement speed with boots when unhindered, however if he is slowed by other means he will no longer travel at max speed
- Barrel Roll reworked
* Barrel Roll now uses a boomerang-like mechanic, returns Madman to his original position after reaching the target destination
* Units hit by Barrel Roll will be stunned for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds. Damage remains the same.
- Reduced passive crit chance from 10/18/26/36% to 10/16/22/28%

she/her

I'm thinking that we need to organize a time that will allow all of us (or at least 5) to log on and make Clan SEN. Our clan tag can be "SEN," too.

The sword and the faith

When I sign on tomorrow I'll handle the clan business.

shut up
it's not that bad of a change, it didn't use to stun before, so it's still a bit worthwhile to catch up to people

Is the beta closed now or something? I'm greatly interested in this game but the site is just a background picture and a link to their facebook. What gives?

Read the first post next time Kow. :P

I will however link you to the site and if you like what you see, throw me a PM asking for a beta key. It must include your email address which the key will be sent to, and a little reason about why you deserve one of the 20 keys I have. (IE I played DOTA a lot / Good beta tester, have participated in other betas / Free blowjobs.)

No I got it.

These keys are for SEN members, and you don't really meet that qualification. You registered less than a month ago, have barely posted, and have no contributions. I'd rather save the keys to give out to more deserving SENners.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
[2026-7-15. : 4:10 am]
Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
