Ideas for a strategy card based game...

Would anyone eb interested in playing a a card based game on starcraft? I've recently run across a very neat game called dominion. It has great strategy involved in piecing your deck together in order to win.

The few things i'm not crazy about involve some of its gameplay. The interaction between players is nothing like Magic the Gathering was. Most of the interactions is quite limited and even with it your opponent can usually overcome it pretty well. Also the cards generally have alot of the same elements so it is not as varied.

The game play goes like this each player starts with a deck of 7 copper coins and 3 estate cards(points).

The goal is to have the most points in your deck when the game ends.

To do this you need to figure out the right combination of money cards (allow you to buy more stuff), action cards (allow you to do more things increasing your hand, increasing your plays, and increasing your buys), and point cards (they do absolutely nothing but take up space but when the game ends your victory depends on who has the most of these.)

Gameplay is very easy to pick up. Each turn consists of ABCD:
-A: You may play an action
-B: You may buy one card from the supply for your deck
-C: Cleanup (cards played and cards in your hand go into your discard pile)
-D: Draw a new hand of 5 cards.

The neat thing is every card you obtain gets put into your discardand when your deck runs out you reshuffle your discard pile to form a new draw pile.

this is just a rough idea of the game.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings
