I agree. This topic is just stupid. It's unrealistic and is highly unlikely that it would be used in an actual game. :><: I vote for a change of topic

Yes it is a giant turtle and when i did it i thought about the book "Neverending story", where it is called "Morla" and she is made of stone and is unbelievable wise and slow and tries to help the hero... So i thought because of that rpg contest for all mediaeval Rpgs this could be a nice location where you can do something special like:

And your Hero asks the old Morla what he should do next because now that he is all alone on his path and he has enemies everywhere his heart is full of fear and he doesnt know where to go.
Morla:"Donīt think you are all alone little one, there is always a light in the dark and even the bravest sometimes need a little help to go on with their journey..."

...and if you would have some more of this it could end up in an awesome terrain based Rpg. So there would be some use for the terrain that is made here.

Well, yes you are far away from Morla and you should think about your attitude.

I vote for a change of topic Sad but true.

My attitude has nothing to do with this. Its not practical terrain. It doesn't look very good. The topic is turning away people from participating. It promotes pieces made entirely from mirrors. Overall, it's a bad topic choice.

Someone else, take over please. Yosh, you can if you want, just start a new topic.

No need to offend you, r00k, but I doubt anyone would participate in this compitition. The whole idea of making a "creature" is annoying and unrealistic. There's no point in submitting. If you don't change the topic then someone else will restart it :><:

I don't want to start the next competition because I actually want to submit something decent for a compitition. xD

My son is in the ARMY. Before he enlisted, he was on the computer all the time. No social life, complained about everything and couldn't hold down a job. He joined all by himself. Granted he is not an offender, but the fact that he signed up himself, makes him want to finish. He was doing everything to get out. And he is proud of himself for staying. I have a degree in Criminal Justice and did my Capstone on programs such as yours. I am a true believer in this type of corrections. It takes a special person to become a staff member who believes in what they do. Seeing is believing and I commend you for your program and every one that puts in the effort to help build strong, respectful, successful members of society. Cheers to you!!!

Wtf is this and why is it in tiny text on the first post?

It was on the entrypage to the government webside about Alcatraz. It made me grin.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Symmetry -- :wob:

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[2026-6-21. : 4:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings
[2026-6-20. : 6:15 pm]
Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.
[2026-6-20. : 3:47 pm]
NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
[2026-6-20. : 3:43 pm]
NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new
[2026-6-19. : 9:57 am]
Oh_Man -- makes me wonder if SEN knows anything about the topic
