The key things from the FAQ are that of course it's a lottery, and they are trying to test it on a lot of different computers and graphics processors. You can only sign up for the beta once per battle.net account, and only those that have at least one game linked to them. How many games you have linked is irrelevant to your chances at being selected.

When I signed up for a warcraft III BETA key, I didn't get one. I think now would be a good time for me to become more religious and prayerful; anyone else as excited as I am?

I am signed up and hopefully that my old machine will be worthy of the testing. My brother got in the Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne Beta so that can't hurt my odds either. Of course that was probably more because he knew admins and was top 10 on a couple servers for Warcraft III at the time . You can see why I never got into warcraft 3 as much aside from the kiddy graphics who likes losing to there little brother? .
