I was wondering if someone mapped out IDs of imgol #s, sprol #s, and/or sound file #s onto a list.

None.

DatEdit/PyDAT have searchable lists. IceCCUI/PyICE also have lists of all image/sprite IDs, but they aren't searchable.

IceCC had a lot of unknowns listed, and DatEdit's did not match up correctly when I tried them in iscript.

Dungeon Master

DatEdit's are definitely correct... Are you sure you're using the correct values?

Which tools are you using and what are their versions?

In DatEdit v1.4
For sounds, I use the number next to Sound File:
For sprites, I use the number next to Images File:

I use IceCCUI for iscript

aka idmontie

Sounds are one number off (because of the numbering).
You use the sprite number for sprites and the image number for images.

The IDs included in DatEd and PyDat are 100% fine, unless there is something that I do not know of. For a text resource, check this out:

I made it years ago, but it should be still actual, for all I know.

Ultraviolet -- just sent you a message on Discord. I suspect you're probably trying to change unit speeds for units that don't use flingy.dat for movement (like any units that walk instead of hovering/flying). You can change their movement to flingy, but they unfortunately look more like they're gliding than walking when you do that.

Symmetry -- EE2, I've been using setdatfile successfully for units.dat and weapons.dat but the flingy changes don't seem to happen
[05:25 pm]
Ultraviolet -- in EE2 you just open DatEdit, go to the flingy tab, and make whatever changes you want. Though if you want to do dynamic shit, you have to use the trigger editor with the setdatfile action. And of course you have to inject your changes when done. Can give more specific troubleshooting advice if you provide more details
