I've taken a break from the SC community recently, after being an active contributor to both Maplantis and SEN.
I've been debating coming back in the capacity I once did; I know when I was here I wasn't the most well-received user, gaining many abusive stereotypes and nicknames against me even from mods themselves.
Just wanted to check in and see if anyone would actually like me to return. If not that is fine, as I have found more welcoming communities on the Web, but I would also not mind coming back and playing some SC... making some maps and just chatting in general.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
