hey there. im new to the site and i was reading your map submission rules and came across clan/advertisment rules.
would it apply to my maps if i had a site advertisment in the brief and on the map? (they are fully functional maps that i did have going on west)
also just before i go around posting is there an introduction fourm or do you guys just bring people in? if so id like to properly introduce myself =)

No clan recruitment maps (maps solely dedicated to advertising clans or recruiting people).
Are you referring to this? If your map wasn't made solely for asking/testing people to join a group then it should be fine I believe.
As for an Introduction Forum we don't really have one, a lot of people start out just asking questions in UMS Assistance and join threads in the other sections or add a short self introduction to their thread in Map Showcase if they have one. You could always use the
shoutbox to say you just joined the forums
