Falk's Zone: Programs

As long as StarCraft can read the map, it's possible to unprotect a map. Your best bet would probably be Shadow Protector, although OSMap 2 and Unused Unprotector will still have no problems unprotecting it (aside from string reconstruction).

I would relax if I was you. There's a surprisingly low amount of map stealers, and the majority don't know how to handle protected maps. Many of the ones who do have OSMap, and there's quite a few protectors that can beat that. And finally there's the small populace which will steal your map if they really wanted to, and there's nothing you can do about it.

I protect my maps with GUEdit, even though it's the weakest protection you can find. I'm willing to bet that someone eager to unprotect a map is more interested in learning than stealing.

she/her

Here's another point to take a laxer stance: if you're particular about protection and unprotection in the sense that you don't want people to steal credit, just post your original up on SEN's DLDB. Generally, things that have been posted there are always properly credited if somebody else made it, and it's a sure way to make a reference that you made the map in the first place.

And you can always bury your name in an obscure unit's name, such as the Independent Command Center or something.

Ultraviolet -- That's strange, it looks like you targeted the base image file (sometimes people make the mistake of just using the imgur page link which doesn't work for embedding) but it still didn't work it sounds like.

ManCubuS -- Even tried with imgur, doesn't attach.

ManCubuS -- I should try a workaround, thanks! Sadly imgur is blocked in my country for some unknown reason.

NudeRaider -- I think SEN has trouble with https or hotlinking is forbidden. It certainly is nothing about the size, it just fails to get any size. You can get it working if you use imgur and include the actual image link for the img tag. Like this: [img=https://i.imgur.com/ddYqXZa.jpeg]

ManCubuS -- Hey fellas! Anyone knows why when I try to upload an image it says "failed to get image size"? I even tried making it so small. Imgur isn't working here and I tried postimg no luck.
