i was wondering if anyone knows the drop trigger, i remember it from a game but dont remember which game, instead of banning and allowing that person to stay if he hacks... this trigger banned by dropping the person... would be helpful keep getting hackers in my game...

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

This is done via EUD desynch. EUDs are a way to directly access sc's memory by using buffer overflows.
Basically you find a condition that is only true for the person to ban, then run an action for him that is shared with the others (e.g. create unit, but NOT move screen). Therefore his starcraft has different game information from the others and will be dropped - desynchronization.

First you need to define when you want to dropban a person. It has been done via text detection. You can either send him the banning keyphrase via whisper or it detects the text that certain hacks write on the screen. If you want more information check the links in the EUD sticky.
The thing is EUDs are very complex and have to be tailored for your map, and work only for one specific sc version. Chances are you don't want to go through all that hazzle for such an simple function.

Or you could just force the supposed hacking player to look at an independent starport or a crashing sprite.

Apparently no one realizes that Zynastor has put epic protection on his hacks... Almost every crashing unit is protected against with Zynastor's Map Hack, so using simple units, such as the above said, will not work on it.

That's not even the main reason you shouldn't use crashing units.

People don't want to wait a minute after banning a player.

Did Zynastor protect against Units being disabled while you're looking at them?

Yes.. Pretty much every crash method I know of was blocked, there's just a few random units and such that still manage to crash it, usually related to the iscript, rather than trying to find an image that isn't there.

Ok, but it doesn't protect from EUD desynch, right?

But wouldn't you have to detect the player's username?

Nope, however, whenever a popular trigger is released to detect it and desync, Zynastor fixes it.

No, you can detect substrings.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

how can you block a trigger from running?

He doesn't, he just changes the value that used to return true due to the hack being injected so it no longer does and then the trigger doesn't run and cause a desync.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
