Relatively ancient and inactive

Title is self-explanatory. Who's making what?

I'll try to make a WCIII battletanks-kind of map. It's an AoS with tanks. Anyone else?

If anyone remembers Squad Tactics, I'm saving that for SC2, provided I get SC2 remotely close to when it comes out, and the units in it are compatible with my current design.

Heh, i wanna convert my old maps that are worth the effort to convert, than add oodles of secrets with the new units. :/ dunno if porting would work well because new unit upgrades/abilities like zealots dash. Maybe editor will allow you to disable those though.

I really dislike the idea of secrets in maps, the faster people learn to play well the better, make the game interesting by balance and allowing players to invent and develop their own strategy.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings
