Hey guys... I like ScmDraft a lot but the current version dont seem to accept UnitID:####<enter> formats... Im trying to insert some EUDs but im forced to use StarForge to do it... any Idea on how to fix this? or tell me if im doing something wrong.

Thanks guys

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Extended Units in Triggers with scmdraft 2 v.0.8.0 beta's Classic Trigedit:

ID:####
that's the right syntax even if another syntax is shown in the end:

"ID:1234" -> will be shown as -> "UnitID:1234"
And if you select it, it will clear the field.

"UnitID:1234" is not accepted as input. "ID:1234" is the right syntax.

I tried that and when I hit enter nothing happens, it keeps showing as unit (in classic map triggers)
In Trigger Editor it doesn't matter what I type, when I click save it simply wont save it...

This is what im trying to add:

Trigger("Observers"){
Conditions:
Deaths("Player 9", "ID:22010", Exactly, 538976288);

Actions:
Leaderboard Greed(0);
}

it doesnt save... actually it doesnt do anything... any Idea why?

I only saw you mention clicking save so... are you hitting compile first? This is assuming your using the text trigger editor though, which I'm going to assume since you pasted text triggers...

:><:

Newbie mistakes...
I didnt click there.

That button dont have any label and the function to compile is not in the menu so I assumed that just by saving would be good.

I tried and I get a msg saying

Error at line #: Started
Error at line #: Unit Expected

and it doesnt save... :S

EUDs don't work in the current text based Trigedit. It will convert everything into the same unitID (not that far above "any unit") and every EUD will be shown as "Invalid Unit" in text based trigedit.
I'm waiting for an EUD support, too.

this is what you are should be able to do:
Player 5 has suffered exactly 585315313 deaths of 'Unit'.

now click on Unit, type: ID:1234 into the box and hit enter.
Now it should look like this:
Player 5 has suffered exactly 585315313 deaths of UnitID:1234.
which is fine.

You need the newest scmdraft for this. It's still named 0.8.0, but it's a beta release. Download it here.

Its full version is 0.8.0b. That b denotes some neat new features.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
