OK i search and everything i got a head ache doing it and reading sorry if its all ready been answered just kill me if it has!
is there a list for all sprites "doodads, effects, units, units sprites, unknown, special, unused" that "Do not" crash Starcraft
(i don't care to disable or any thing just place them) And is it possible to use sprites from say badlands on an ash world type map.
I did try a few and some worked some didn't blah blah blah a list would help a lot more then going through them one by one!

Thanks for the help! sorry if i am a noob!

Try this. I remember seeing a complete list somewhere, but I don't remember where I found it.

Here's a list of crashing sprites:
Collapsable Box

That's the thing about sprites, they aren't restricted to tileset, like terrain is, so they work just fine on any tileset.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
