I'm at college. I'm directly connected to a hub and I have latency. I tried to port forward but I don't even get the option to. So, how can I have latency if its directly connected and not doing through a router? i really want to host games on sc. someone please help! thanks

Aside from port forwarding there really isn't a way. If you can't port forward you will have latency and you cannot do anything about it.
