does it not work any longer?

i cant get my forces to change color or overlap at all

is it cause of the new patch or somthing, because previous maps that had it don't work either

None.

👻 👾 👽 💪

This was patched and cannot be done since version 1.14. Also in that version certain characters in the map name (such as the center align, right align, and ampersand--maybe more) make a game unjoinable.

i have another question about overlapping text

if i wanted to center overlapped text in a display text in the middle of the screen or mission breifing, is that possible?
If yes, how?

i've already tried doing it but it hasnt really done ne thing except make text go off the screen

technically you could stack force names but for it to serve any purpose itd have to be a singleplayer map played on bnet...

yeah well we've already determined that the new patch doesnt support it any longer

im asking weather its possible to have overlapping text in the center of the screen and if so, how?

We do a little trolling

For all practical purposes, I'd say no. With a shitload of guesses and fails and horridness you could eventually get it, but it would take forever.

My Projects:

Impossible Ultraviolet | Impossible UV 2 | Impossible UV 3
Mercenaries 2020 | Mercenaries III
Squad Defense

Legacy Projects (No guarantee of functionality in modern SC):

Pixel Adventure 2 | Space Snipers | Control the Ball

It may actually be practical. I'd say talk to Farty about that sort of thing, he might be able to provide you with algorithms or programs.

if you can find the right formula you should be able to do it.

You could use a lot of tabs to get it roughly centered and fine-tune it with spaces and then use Right and an equal amount of spaces after it... That might be a bit excessive, though. :P

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[06:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
