Looks cool, and nice to see someone making an AoS besides UnholyUrine. (Breach doesn't count 'cause it's not really started...) I want to play it when it's done.

WMC entry, I take it?

EDIT: Please explain something... When you said "Create an army", do you get to build your own units? 'Cause that's what it sounded like to me.

That's what it said in the subtitle, lol. Yeah, I was working on Pirates vs Ninja at like 2006-2007, but I haven't really done it so I decided to just partcipate in the winter themed contest. Then I will finish PvN.

In response to your edit, you create units that are given to your computer allied force, which is then directed to attack towards enemy base. Multitasking units can abused with upgrades and massing.

Hello

I'm actually not a fan of maps like that, but this just sounds interesting... I'll play it at least once ;)
The "story" is good

So it's like an AoS / Spawn D hybrid, then? Sounds like it could be interesting. If it needs testing, you know where to find me.

Yup thanks for offering tests.

Yeah army creation = cash. It's like AoS + Spawn / Income defense.
I will update classes and skills soon.

It works because Echo says so. The explaination would be too difficult for normal humans to understand. :D

I like the concept of the map.

So you're saying that if I invest 5 Billion Dollars in a Nation's Military, it will somehow generate income for Me?
I'd at least understand kills...

Quick question: In the Firebat's description you mentioned a "mobile suit"... What is that?

No. These are snow soldiers. Making fighting snowmen is an accomplishment to be proud of. The currency of this game is self-esteem.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[2026-6-21. : 4:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings
[2026-6-20. : 6:15 pm]
Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.
[2026-6-20. : 3:47 pm]
NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
[2026-6-20. : 3:43 pm]
NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new

Oh_Man -- makes me wonder if SEN knows anything about the topic
