Maplantis was so good it didn't need anything more than it already had. I recommend we ban payne though. Elitism ftw!

I can probably make it. I'll just need all the pictures of icons, and info on text color, bg color, header colors etc. Or maybe a link would work.

While I appreciate the offer, you have your site, somebody still has to set up a lot of the old stuff with the map data mining, and me and you don't always see eye to eye. It's just asking for another management disaster.

This topic has been reported a couple of times. I'm moving it to null, but I am not closing it. There is a legitimate discussion taking place.

This is ridiculous, Maplantis is dead guys, get over it, if you want a skin, go learn some CSS and make a skin. SeN is good, yes, some features are still unfinished, but it works, there is no point in having 2 competing mapping websites.

I didn't like Maplantis, and when SEN was down, I didn't go to Maplantis bitching about SEN being down.

The Modding Community suffered an almost fatal blow due to the closing. Also, two competing map sites encourages, *gasp!*, competition! It provides motivations and a reason to map: to beat the other website.

It would be nice if SEN had an active coder, however..

Matt_burch is pretty active and he's a good coder. He just doesn't have permissions.

There's plenty of other map making and modding sites out there. SEN and Maplantis just happen to be related because they were both made by the same person.

Competition was never my motivation. I doubt it was ever IPs either.

i agree with falkoner. there is no point in having 2 competing websites by the same person. Also, having 2 websites from the same person could stress the admins out with having to deal with twice the spammers, flamers, and fags. there will be half the already little time he has taken away for maplantis also.
