"Pseudo-Scouts?"

Quote from The StarCraft Wiki
* Three units all use the Protoss Scout as an in-game model.
o The Cargo Ship has a wireframe confirmed by Blizzard to be the original Battlecruiser. The wireframe is similar to the Covert Ops.
o The Mercenary Ship has a wireframe that resembles a Valkyrie.
o The Independent Starport also looks like a Scout. It has an 'unknown attack' that does 7 damage in its profile, but it doesn't actually attack.

Does anyone know if these units are real, and if so, how do you place them in SCMDraft?

None.

👻 👾 👽 💪

All unused graphics use the scout sprite (which is why they crash, actually.) These are very real... I'll attempt to locate them for you. What a surprise it is to be unable to find something in SCMDraft's unit list!

Independent Starport is in Units\Undefined\Independent
I found the other unused units that you didn't mention... but I can't find the two non-crashing ones.

Ok. For some reason they are in Zerg\*
SCMDraft apparently takes no effort to distinguish them, and I cannot even trust SCMDraft enough to put them in the proper order. But I suppose it doesn't make much difference because other than wireframe and unit ID they are exactly the same.

Okay, thanks. I didn't look in Zerg\* because that didn't make sense... This can be locked now.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
