I have something wierd about the campaign like for the Terrans it in the Hyperion with Raynor. Isn't it a bit odd that blizzard taking a new route instead
of the old starcraft campaign.
any replies?

Fairly certain he means the pregame thing where you talk to "Hell it's about time" guy and all the other people.

This, is the evolution of gaming.

Inside the Hyperion will be succeeding the "Briefing Lobby" for the Terran Campaign. Both the Zerg and Protoss campaigns will have their own interior area with a star map. It is very likely that the Protoss Briefing Lobby will take place inside a Mothership.

Perhaps the Zerg Campaign will take place in a Hive.

I heavily doubt that it will take place insider the Carrier. After all, the last cinematic [Spoilers] in vanilla StarCraft (Not Brood War) revealed Tassadar inside a really empty interior Carrier named 'Ganthrithor'. The chances of a Mothership is likely due to one of the early concept arts.

Just here for the activity... well not really

Each campaign is different. like Blizzard said.
Its possible that Terran is the only one like this.
Protoss won't have the "buy unit" or "star map" features like Terran does.
Or, atleast, I think.

Mothership looks gay. You can't live on that thing, especially when there are no airlocks. :bleh:

Each campaign has a star map, possibly of their own variant version: Zerg Starmap is likely to be an Infested Star map of a former Terran variant, and the Protoss is simply Protoss-ish.

Still they have been removing most of its spells like the Black Hole. Kinda gets annoying because its supposed to be the Protoss ultimate unit.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[2026-6-21. : 4:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
[2026-6-20. : 3:43 pm]
NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new
