Store Owner - This role sells life. If a person is lynched or killed, they can come back as townie only (This applies to special roles that are non-mafia only). The cost of buying life is 200 minerals.

Its no different then "Finding out someones role" really. Although you could find out other stuff too...

Sep 23 2008, 2:08 am Biophysicist Post #45

I suppose...

Hey Moose, like anything you read so far?

Sep 23 2008, 2:09 am Lingie Post #46

Yeah, like if Echo thinks Moose is really 12 years old, and wants his penis.

When you die. Your role isn't revealed, just the color of your role. It could give the Mafia false hope that they killed a boondock or something important.

Waldo changes your color, making you seem like someone else when you're dead or when you're scanned by the Detective or the like. Thus, he can change a person who is going to die to make them look like a Mafia, etc. Would be a great role during another mindfuck or the like, or if # of roles are not revealed during the game at least.

Oh. That makes sense. But what if no one PMed Moose in day one?

And can you "spam" the psychic by sending a stupid PM?

Rapist is a serious role. It's actually pretty good.

Rape was never funny. Thousands of people get raped every day.

Hey Greo, wanna consider making a new post, or placing it in here, about a potentional Speed Mafia? I'm rather.. Wanting of one myself.

Why not? Or, we could at least arrange what we could do.

Assassin: The Assassin may, once* per game, target and kill another player during the night. The Assassin's hit is processed first, and bypasses Meat Shield and Regenerator roles. If the Psycho is targetted by the Assassin, both die. A Doctor can save the victim. The Assassin's role is not revealed after he strikes someone, clue or otherwise, unless killed by a Psycho. One he's killed someone, he functions as a Townsperson thereafter*. The Assassin's power may not be used during the first night, and he cannot target the Mayor while he has surviving bodyguards**.

*Possibly twice, or once every two/three days? Basically, the Assassin is like a Boondock Saint, save that he doesn't kill as much; but when he does so, he does so with impunity.

**Or, perhaps, while he has both surviving bodyguards.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
