How do you make a beacon without the circle part so its just like the light, I think it has something to do with sprites but I'm not sure which sprite.

It's not a sprite. You have to disable the beacon, with the disable doodad state action.

Oh, well how do you do that lol?

EDIT: Nevermind I thought it was like a property that you unchecked but then i re-read it and understood it was a trigger. Thanks for helping.

But you need to know that if you have shared vision with the player the owns the beacons, then they dont disable properly, they sort of cloak. So make sure you don't see what the player that owns the beacons sees.

Although I usually have the beacons owned by p1, and then disable, then give to p7 or 8

You don't need to share vision, the player just has to detect the cloaked wraith, so if sharing vision isn't an option, you can always give it to the player for a little while, or give the player a detector near it.

This has nothing to do with a wraith.. And i said you DONT want shared vision.

Well the beacons are owned by player 12, so should I like give them to player 7 or something?

Oh sorry, let me explain why I responded like that, in order for it to appear properly, the player needs to detect it first, and then lose their detection of it.

Simply disable the beacon while owned by a human player and then give it to the player you want to have it.

Ultraviolet -- just sent you a message on Discord. I suspect you're probably trying to change unit speeds for units that don't use flingy.dat for movement (like any units that walk instead of hovering/flying). You can change their movement to flingy, but they unfortunately look more like they're gliding than walking when you do that.

Symmetry -- EE2, I've been using setdatfile successfully for units.dat and weapons.dat but the flingy changes don't seem to happen
[05:25 pm]
Ultraviolet -- in EE2 you just open DatEdit, go to the flingy tab, and make whatever changes you want. Though if you want to do dynamic shit, you have to use the trigger editor with the setdatfile action. And of course you have to inject your changes when done. Can give more specific troubleshooting advice if you provide more details
