Well I was working on my map today and ran into a problem I thought I would never fix.

Then I thought well I am messing with hyper players maybe remove it.

I did just that and it fixed the problem.

Now what is so funny or neat about this?

Well it is because this hyper player filled in the current player brings and accumulates conditions.Well the bring condition only worked for the Goliath only though.

Player 145 is the one I am talking about.

I will attach the map with the hyper player and without him.

I know it isn't to big of a deal, but if thought about it could be useful somehow lol.

To find this hyper play thing just wait about 5 seconds in the bug version lol.

By the way this map is one I am working on so yeah....

*confused* Do you mean that "current player" also detects resources/Goliaths owned by P145?

Oh, and I think the correct term is "Extended Players". I called them Hyper Players once and confused a bunch of people...

I don't know, it sounds like he's trying to say that it replaced current player with Player 145, but that makes no sense.

No no I am saying Player145 was being used instead of current player.

So instead of you yourself being ''current player'' Player 145 is the current player.

Download the map and see what I mean.

I tried it out, I'm not sure if I saw what you're talking about, but I did notice something odd:

Those machine shops for player 56, when I hovered my arrow over them they were shown as enemy, and I they were black on the minimap, however, when I clicked on them, they were mine, like, I got the green ring around them, rather than the red ring, weird :P

Yeah I knew about the player 56 thing <.<.

Ver 1.7 is the one where the ''neat glitch'' happens

Did you see what would happen if you had a player 145 map revealer? Does it give vision to all players?

We do a little trolling

He wasn't saying it did. He was wondering if it did because of the affects that player had on the current player thing.

My Projects:

Impossible Ultraviolet | Impossible UV 2 | Impossible UV 3
Mercenaries 2020 | Mercenaries III
Squad Defense

Legacy Projects (No guarantee of functionality in modern SC):

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[04:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new
