I'm currently working on some terrain, and anytime I try to play the map it crashes giving me some memory error... I took a screen of the error but it like didn't take for some reason... I'll try again later. Anyways, so when I play the exact same map with the installation wall sprites deleted it runs perfectly. What's wrong?

How many sprites do you have on the map?

Just wall trap sprites? Uh like 100 maybe.

Hmm, sprites should be able to fit off the map, Im not sure what happens when its in a voided area though...

Was that just an guess? Or was that the actual number of sprites? Because, sometimes, when I place sprites, I put multiple sprites stacked on top of each other.

Post the map and we'll find the problem, fix it, and post the map back telling what did you do wrong. Easy. ;)

*Steals awesome terrainz*

Statisticly, there is nothing wrong with the map, I don't understand why it crashes for you :bleh:

Can the unit go on unwalkable terrain?

Not unless you move or create them via triggers.

Floor Missile Traps and other instalation doodads can be placed anywhere via the "Place anywhere" feature.

Are you however using a unit attack? Perhaps one is hidden underneath the 166 sprites :bleh:

Uh well How do I get it to go right where I wanted it?? I can't just place it before hand? That seems ridiculous.

Not unless in other words, you HAVE to preplace them.

I'm quite certain the sprites do not crash, but it doesn't hurt to try the unit.

Ultraviolet -- just sent you a message on Discord. I suspect you're probably trying to change unit speeds for units that don't use flingy.dat for movement (like any units that walk instead of hovering/flying). You can change their movement to flingy, but they unfortunately look more like they're gliding than walking when you do that.

Symmetry -- EE2, I've been using setdatfile successfully for units.dat and weapons.dat but the flingy changes don't seem to happen
[2026-7-12. : 5:25 pm]
Ultraviolet -- in EE2 you just open DatEdit, go to the flingy tab, and make whatever changes you want. Though if you want to do dynamic shit, you have to use the trigger editor with the setdatfile action. And of course you have to inject your changes when done. Can give more specific troubleshooting advice if you provide more details
