I've been the only one who has been loading the channel bot to open the channel. I need someone else who can load a bot during the time mine is off. My computer is really bad and my internet connection isnt reliable. I need someone's bot who I can invite to channel but not have Ops or Shaman. If you are a grunt or peon rank, you can open the channel as long as you join it or stay in it. Anyone else who can load a starcraft/warcraft2/or diablo2 bot and can leave it 24/7 in the channel, that would be great. Thanks.

I can load a SC bot, even tho I'm not in the clan. I don't really have much to do else, anyways :P
(Hell, I can load 4)

So basically you would like for people to leave their bots on in your channel? if so, no problem ;3

We could operate that easily, but the problem is without Ops or Shaman, getting rid of "intruders" is very difficult.

There is a no banning/kicking policy. And there shouldn't be a problem because I would load bots in mornings and kick off the problems.

I will try to load my bot every morning before I leave to school. Echo already invited my bot so this business is done =]

If you are using "stealthbot" you are able to script a plugin which always sets the other bot to the operator, without someone has to type the designate thing in.

Or you could skip the useless code and give the other bot the "D" flag which auto designates them upon entering.

I mean think about it, you would need to do this

Code
Sub User Joins Channel (Username, ping, flags) [Or w/e the sub is called]

If Username = "Cheffyops" Then
    AddQ "/designate " & Username
AddQ Username & " has been designated" (for show)
End If

End Sub

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
