How do you divide using triggers? I know you have to subtract both of the death counters using binary count offs or something like that, but I don't get it.

Have you read this article?

I've seen this, but I would like to see it in trigger form not in paragraph form.

Ridiculous simplification

If deaths of Y are at least 4
Then add 1 for X
& subtract 4 for Y
(In this case we are dividing by 4) So if Y was 16, it would put the answer in X, which is 4.
There are many forms depending on what you're looking for. Note that this puts the remainder in Y.

If you want to Divide Y/X for instance instead of a known value, then it gets more complicated. I don't want to explain this though unless you actually need it (Bit lazy)

This map is a simple calculation map:

This one has instant calculation (assuming you're doing X/Y):

Or lethal can whip out some sample maps..

Those weren't created by lethal :P.

Nope. I found them all in the DLDB.

By whipped out I mean that he produced them like a magician produces a rabbit out of a hat.

The magician doesn't birth the rabbit :)

The good ones do.

That's what the search button is for ^^.

In other words, there's no easy way to do it, you have to basically brute-force in any divisor you need.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
