Randomly my screen goes completely black. This used to occur with a low frequency, but it would always come back up after 10-30 seconds. However, now I have to leave the computer off for 5-30 minutes when this happens to restore it. I know it's probably the monitors fault because I can still hear sounds as normal. How can I solve this?

None.

Check the cables connecting your monitor to your computer.
This happened to me once. Turned out one of the prongs in the connection plug was missing.

I'll check. My sister's friend who is very good at computers recommended getting new drivers, which I am.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.
