Too Fast

Ive finally been able to test my map(8 player TD) out with multiple people however, Ive encountered a strange problem. I usually test the map out by setting P2 to a computer and moving him to Force 2(Im still on B.net). This works perfectly. However, when ever I try to play my map with a friend, the map speed increases. I notice this b/c the DCs I have as timers seem to run twice as fast, or significantly faster at least. At first, I though it was b/c I had the Hyper Triggers under All Players and that they might be responsible. However, I moved my Hyper Triggers into P1-P8, using Switches to ensure that if there was a P1, P2-P8's Hyper Triggers wouldnt run, if there was no P1 and there was a P2, his Hyper Triggers would run and P3-P8s Hyper Triggers wouldnt, etc....

I had tested it with 4 players before I made this modification and it seemed to run x4. I really have no idea why my map might be running faster.(I Have No Extended Players)

Ideas?

If you're using "Set deaths for Force 1" or "Set deaths for all players", it will subtract that amount times the number of players within that force who are in the game, or the number of players in the game at all (if you used all players). Just set the deaths for each player individually to solve this.

Exactly what I thought right after I posted this, Im pretty sure it does have to do with where I have my timers.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry -- Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
