Respawn

I know how to do a normal respawn trigger, but this one is a little different, It is for a nuke dodge type map. Each level you get a new guy.I have the triggers set to where level 2 starts when switch 2 is set, etc. I need the triggers to make the lvl u r on respawn when you die.
This is what i have that is not working
Trigger
Players

  • All Players
  • Conditions

  • Elaplsed scenario time is exactly 2 game seconds
  • Actions

  • Modify score for All PLayers: set to 999 custom


  • Trigger
    Players

  • Force 1
  • Conditions

  • Switch 256 is set (lvl 1)
  • Current playerrs custom score is atleast 1
  • Current player commands exactly 0 Level 1
  • Current players custom score is atmost 99999
  • Actions

  • Create 1 Level 1 at Start for Current Player
  • Modify score for current player: subtract 1 custom
  • preserve trigger


  • What the heck is wrong?

    If you don't have Hyper Triggers running the game might not check the triggers on that "Exact 2 Game Seconds." It might be 1 second and 3 seconds. Try at least or use Hyper Triggers.

    NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

    yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
