I went to a wedding with family at the weekend. After seeing the photos I thought it's probably a good time for a "then and now" series of how me and my brothers have grown up. You've probably seen the first two from way back.

I just hope that the anti-noise filter has been done afterwards, and not automatically by the photo app.

Also a tip to avoid the noise in the first place: More ambient lighting (ideally strong sun light) or at least a long exposure. The latter means that you gotta put the camera on a stand and probably add a timer because you simply can't get sharp pictures for exposure times > 0.2s when you hold the camera in your hands.

Also what nude said is wrong. Longer exposure = more noise. So yeah, don't do that.

More ambient light was a spot on advice, though, but I assume you don't have the ability to create a couple more suns around you.

Indoors...so, I suppose I could've found more bulbs. The camera program is a crappy one, so I doubt it has any sort of exposure controls.

And the picture wasn't intentional. So any pre-picture settings that should've been changed weren't. *shrug*

Except that's exactly how you improve quality on cheap sensors at bad lighting conditions.
Longer exposure = more measurements, so the errors cancel each other out on average.

So if my exposure is sufficiently long, at some point I'll look sexy?
