sorry...
I don't feel like looking for it through triggers because I'm busy working on terrain...
Can you make a computer player(P8) cast MC on a human players unit?
None.

sorry...
I don't feel like answering, because I'm busy watching tv...
Hint: Wiki/Tutorials
just looked and searched on both tutorials and wiki tutorials/references and couldn't find it =o
I didn't mean to say my time is worth more than anyone elses... I just figured it be something short and sweet..
(quite frankly 1 Alkali minute is probably worth .07 regular minutes)
None.
I think that if the computer (P8) has a full energy Dark Archon and that it gets attacked, it shall cast Mind Control on the unit that attacked him, but I'm not sure...
I remember a map that was showing how, though... go see into Experimentals map into the DLDB
None.
idk I can't find it so I going to just abandon the idea...
it was just a small thing I wanted to do to look cool... not that important though.
None.
Mind ControlThis spell is used by the Dark Archon. It costs 150 energy by default. It also reduces the Dark Archon's shield points to zero.
Enemy ground and air units, but not buildings, can by targeted by this spell. The unit will simply be given to the player casting the spell.
Computer UseDark Archons will Mind Control nearby high level enemy units such as Battlecruisers, Carriers, Archons, Ultralisk, etc.
They will not use Mind control on hero units. They will sometimes Mind Control enemy Dark Archons. (Sometimes they will use Feedback instead)
Taken directly from the Wiki. Seriously, people shouldn't ask for things that are in the Wiki.
that didn't tell me if theres a trig or AI to run MC
I didn't ask what the move does or when computers use it at will.
I read that in the Wiki like 5 times to make sure.
None.

All you requested was if there was a way to make a Computer Mind Control a Human Player. You never specifically asked if there was a trigger for it.
There are 3 AI scripts you can use to cast a spell. Nuke, Disruption Web, Recall. The generic Computer AI will use MC only when those conditions are met under lil-inferno's post. Test it out, it generally happens when you attack the dark archon too.

meh... thats no fun.
I would test it... but I have a lack of confidence in it accomplishing what I want... I would have like 5-8 dark archons casting it in consecutively on a specified unit(with lots of other units in the area).
Seems near impossible for me to get it to work, but I don't need it THAT bad... I can work around it.
None.
Wait until SC2, when we can actually do this sort of stuff.
Also, there's a little edit button where the "report post" button should be in the bottom left of your posts. Use it, don't double post unless it needs a bump.

If someone asks about something that's in the wiki, just link them to it.
Searching the wiki for "mind control" does actually turn up
Spells (Protoss).
None.
What alkali asked is not misleading or redundant.
He asked-- Can you
*make* a computer dark archon MC a unit. Not whether you can make probabilistic conditions for the Dark Archon to do so. Someone with good experience in this will answer "No." Not unless you can create a new AI script from scratch and to do that you probably have to create a whole new MPQ from scratch and to do that you probably have to work directly with C++ for all I know. OR you can use SC AI editor to mod AI
http://www.samods.org/downloads/starcraft/utils/scaiedit.zip It is difficult to ask for advice on a support forum for asking advice if you will get slammed as a time-waster when your question is very specific and to the point. The thing wrong with it is it belongs in modding.

Other than those three spells rockz mentioned, you can't really
make a computer use anything. That's why the "Computer Use" sections in the wiki exist in the first place. When someone needs a computer to use a spell, using some indirect method is usually good enough.

Based on what he's told us, I doubt he wants to make a mod.
