Hey guys I know some of you might have watched a couple of the pro Korean SC games that are unfortunately.. in Korean :><: .
Just in case none of you are aware there are now a bunch of dedicated SC players doing English voice overs of the games.
Here are all the links to their youtube channels:
Klazart
http://youtube.com/user/KlazartSC
Diggity
http://youtube.com/user/diggitySC
Violetak now has a good amount of English on it
http://youtube.com/user/VioleTAK
Also there is the first ever paid English commentary
http://gsi.gomtv.com/vod/?page=1&keyfield=&key=

There are allot of other English commentators but these are in my opinion, the best.
Hope you guys enjoy!

Oops wrong forum, if a moderator could move it, that would be nice.

For voiceovers, they sure speak fast.

Bleh, that's because the English language sort of lags behind Korean.

I've already watched most of those.

If you can stand listening to a complete spazzy ass in exchange for some simple examples of some useful build-orders: http://youtube.com/wasif1112
Another good one: http://www.youtube.com/user/PsyonicReaver
And: http://www.youtube.com/user/GrethSC

And while we're on the topic of broodwar youtubes...
By my longtime SC buddy in recognition of his map: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Dg4QfEHbU5Q

and of course boxer highlights with superior micro skills: http://youtube.com/watch?v=KuSOvG-eGmU and http://youtube.com/watch?v=c0ZGTcyhRUk&feature=related

Why have voice-overs when you can just use the mute button?

NudeRaider -- blessed innocent soul knows nothing of the strife we had before EUDs were discovered :teehee:

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new
