Through things discussed in the merger topics:
- Light discussion forum deleted. Peoples were right, it was basically an extended null forum. Though that wasn't the intention. Maybe later, when we are bigger, there would be more distinction.
- Clan forums made. If you remember a way older v5, this is basically how they were displayed. Because I hate subforums with a passion. I have something planned though, the ability to make any such forum be displayed as a regular forum row. So if you are in that clan and want to see it as a full row, you will be able to soon.

I hope to have the time to continue working on such things all through today.

This is a bit easier less stuff to watch. Then again the people are different at each.

How about you make clan forums visible only in Community > Clan > Clan Name > View. It looks really ugly the way it is right now.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
