EVEN thought the file is placed in the proedit file (ZIP) when i downloaded it. im clueless. mabey a but stupid
So if anyone can lead me in the right direction, it'll Turn my frown upsidedown

Extract all the contents of the .ZIP into a folder, i.e. C:/Proedit, then try it.
None.
So, you want me to make a new. file and move all the files to that specific file
Or. what? when i click on the other files it allowes me to open them without
having to extract again

Take everything in the .ZIP file you downloaded and put them into another place, another folder. Just select it all, and drag it somewhere else, then try again.
I think the problem is that PROEdit can't read the Starcraft files while in the .ZIP.

I, made a file "Proedit1" and draged all the files from my downloaded Proedit Zip.
And it still didn't work >_> thanks for ur help tho

Make sure that the file MPQCTL.OCX is in the same folder as PROEdit.exe.
You also have to make sure that all those files are in a REGULAR computer folder, not a compressed (.zip) folder. They have to be extracted. That shouldn't be your problem though, it seems like you've got that down.

Why are you even using Proedit? Get
SCM Draft

SCMDraft is the BEST! BEST! BEST! BEST! BEST! For emphasis, I would do it a lot more, but that would be spam.
But yea, stop using Proedit and use SCMDraft.

Is your Starcraft properly installed? Maybe PROEdit can't find your sc path. So try running PROedit from the sc folder.
Also try copying the .ocx from the zip to your windows or windows\system32 folder.
Lastly maybe the .ocx is damaged. Try googling it or download PROEdit from another source.
