Virus within the map generated by map unprotector?

A few weeks ago a friend of mine asked me if I can unlock this EUD map. After renaming it and trying to open it with several unprotectors I ended up getting https://www.mediafire.com/file/xd7nhxgkj591ttb/asd.scx/file
this[/url] file (since it's been a while since then, I think this map was generated by SMC 2.86, but it was still protected, I assume). I then tried to open it with ScmDraft2 and Chkdraft, but it wouldn't work.

Seeing that it's not working, I took a look at it using Ladik's MPQ Editor (LME), this time noticing a file called "File00000002.exe", as seen here:

, I said to myself "Well, that's strange! I have never seen an exe within a map!", so I hit "View File" in LME. In the first line I noticed "UpackByDwing", as seen here:

, which I assumed it was a packer, but after googling it, it came up more as being a packer used for viruses. Seeing this. I decided to submit "File00000002.exe" to virustotal, and the results came in as being a virus.

I was still curious if the map would still run in Starcraft, so I fired up the game in a sandbox, and a second later after the map started I got this error:

Is this indeed a virus or is just a false positive? Also, if it's not a virus, do packers usually show up as viruses to antiviruses? I'm asking this because I've read in the past that it was possible to get viruses into maps by means of EUD, for SC 1.16.1. I think I read about it here, on staredit. I'm also aware that SC:R runs EUD within a sandbox, and that certain type of EUDs were prohibited.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
