Hey guys I went to download every single map from this site:
http://rion.org/ and put it into one big map folder to share with you all. With my techniques I've developed from archiving and downloading maps from SC Nibbits, it was quite easy, but took several days (couple hours per day), to download all the maps from rion.org, and rion.org was more organized and straight forward than SC Nibbits. Basically I've used Brave Browser, a script I made, a url opener site, a new line remover site, and inspected elements of rion's pages to complete this project (I think that's all).

None of My ds maps is there and I made a few. Well i put My New ds map on sc Nibbits. Cant upload to that database tho so how to put maps on that site?

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
