Hi Folks,

does anyone happen to know how to stop a comp using a certain AI (that he previously ran)?
I guess that's not possible...

But maybe you know of an ai that will make the comp do nothing (or nothing except mining) but spellcasting when attacked?

Giving to another player is no option.

I think ordering them might work, although there is an AI script called "Clear Previous Combat Data" but other than those, the only way I know that works for sure is giving it to another player then giving it back.

Ordering units or clearing combat data won't stop the ai from building.

Giving the units to another player and back won't help either, as the ai will still be running and as soon it has it's units back it will continue to fight.
I'm talking about a melee ai like protoss expansion hard.

As I said, stopping the ai at all won't be possible, but I want to know of a passive ai that will do nothing or just mine.

note that the comp ai scripts give minerals and gas.

Hm... constantly ordering the units AND taking the money aways AND running a script that doesn't give minerals should cover it...

Hmm, usually the AI goes off when you give away ALL their units.

A good one that tends to get units to just mine is Terran 1 - Shareware.

eh, if you don't plan to keep them, then try:

Trigger
Players

  • Player X (Computer)
  • Conditions

  • Switch Y is set
  • Actions

  • Kill all units for current player.

    Unless I'm crazy, the "Area Town" AIs make a comp just mine. Will they spellcast in defense, too?
