SCMdraft keeps having an error in locating the Mpq, despite everything else being fine.

Post a screenshot of your profile settings. This is an example of what it should look like: 
I run into issues launching if I don't remove patch_ed.mpq, maybe that's the issue OP is having.

missing patch_ed should just be a warning message, not a fatal error. But we need to know the exact error message to help.
