Please help, I can't figure out problem!!!

ALright I have a map and I made the trigger system just like it should be but it wont work :-( Please help. this is infuriating me :flamer:

The problem is that that half of the triggers on the following map wont work when played in an actual game. I'd be very appreciative if somebody could help me because this is really annoying.

Uh, I don't think attachments are up yet, so could you just type out the triggers for us? It's always best to type the triggers rather than post your map. ;)

You are probably getting Wait Blocks, these will happen if more than one wait is running at once for a single player, one wait will have to wait for the other to finish before it starts. HyperTriggers will also cause this problem.

Or you have the triggers running for a player that isnt in the game.

Um you could try giving the Hyper Triggers to a computer that doesn't have any triggers with wait times in them. :><:

Well basically you can't normally use the 'Wait' command. You will have to use other conditions which act as timers. For example you could create a Terran Bunker for a computer player in an unreachable location which only has 10hp. After 10 seconds (or so) the Bunker will have burned down, which is the condition for your triggers.
Do you understand what I'm trying to say or do you want to me give you a more detailed example?

You can easily use waits, you just can't have multiple waits running at once for a certain player slot or your triggers with waits will be really delayed or never run.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
