I heard two months ago that someone had been making World of Warcraft characters, building them up to level 70, then selling them on eBay for $400+.

How much do you think people could make on eBay for Starcraft II account names? Like as soon as SCII comes out maybe you could quickly register tonnes of word accounts. Then sell them on eBay later. Good money?

SCII still uses Battle.Net, and Blizzard's probably not going add something like a "@Azeroth" tag.
Meaning: We use the same names.

On top of that, the WoW characters sell for a lot because of the level and the time it took to achieve that as well as the time it took to achieve the gear. The character names aren't nearly so important.

Ever heard of Origs in SC? People could sell an 'orig' called 'Sex' for probably like fifty bucks. Theres also other ones like woman, man, animal, etc.

Origs probably aren't as big of a deal as illys. I might pay like $20 for a cool illy, origs not so much. Even so, the market is not nearly so big as that of WoW, especially considering that eventually those cool names will run out, but you can always make a new WoW character.

Who hear other than me has played with the real guy who has Computer as his screen name, I've also played with closed. Or how about those 1 or 2 character long names that were made before blizzard increased the minimum to 3?

I saw a once, but that account doesn't exist anymore. I never saw the real Computer. That'd be cool though. Only one better than that would be God, but one of those big channels owns that account.

I used to be friends with one, but after I was banned from my computer for a few months, he disappeared, and any comments I'd heard on whoever had the account name afterwards were claims that he was an ass.

Chau and Mar can be terms of East and West as Sara is US. Auir will be Europe and Char will Asia. Though I have no idea what planets will be played on in SCII.

Chances to use "Open", "Closed", "Computer", "Computer (Easy)", "Computer (Normal)" or "Computer (Hard)" are accessible in SC2 but there will be a slim chance to get them from the first week of release.
