Ok, So I have trigger to endlessly spawn units if a switch is set.

Quote
Players:
Player 1

Conditions:
'Switch 1' is set.

Actions:
Preserve Trigger.
Create 1 Terran Firebat at 'Red Spawn' for Player 1
Wait for 250 miliseconds
Comment: P1 L1


But... It only spawns ONE. But if I take out the wait 250 ms line, it spawns them over and over. (But way too fast).

What am I doing wrong?

Remove and Remake your hyper triggers, Tell me if it works after.

Put the hyper triggers at the bottom of the list, or give them to a player without any waits. You are getting wait blocks, because a player is running two or more waits at once. Check to see if there are any preserve+wait triggers that may both run under the same player.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
