OK i have my map here you guys can have a look, i took homeworld, and turned it into a 5V3 insane coputer map. then i had the idea to add lights. Thats when it started to go wrong

so... when you go in the map, you choose defense or offense, then it crates another chooser, on singe player it works fine, but when you have two people it creates 2 instead of 1 how come?

Because you placed it in a force, or for multiple players, so that when the other player is in the map, it now runs twice, one for player 1, and another time for player 2, it will create more depending on how many people are playing, but to stop this, get rid of a condition when you create it, so it doesn't get met again.

Make it this way:

Force 1
Conditions:

w/e (when the chooser should be created)
Actions:
Create 1 chooser for Current Player

then every player in force 1 gets a chooser for himself (Current Player)

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings
