What would you guys thing of hosting a starcraft tourney at soem point in time basicly its as follows

- you get 10 to 15 mins to build

- you have 3 lives

- once the timer expires your units get transported to the battlefield two players at a time with roatating battles so you always fight some one different

comments and concerns? i personnaly think it would be very fun!

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

10-15 minutes doing nothing but building a base melee/impossible style? Boring. Especially if then you're not even the player fighting.

Woah

To clarify (because I don't think the OP explains it very well), the tournament would be based on the Starcraft Tournament Brood War X map (or whatever it's called). You have that time to build your army, then when the timer is up a trigger kicks in that takes ever player's army and moves it to a holding area. Then one by one each player fights one another with only the units they built/the units that survive each round.

As Dev said, that map already exists. So basically you're just looking for people to play it with since b.net is a ghost town now?

NimoStar -- But Terran players did win the game against the bot. So it is conclusive, Terran OP ;)=

NimoStar -- They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available

Well yes and no. The apm made him win the battle, but I'm not convinced a pro player can't account for that. He got caught with his pants down so it's not really representative of a prepared player. And the extra economy absolutely would've mattered if that push didn't almost immediately end the game.

NudeRaider shouted: Oh_Man nothing too special tbh. the human player wasn't ready to combat the push that stretched almost the whole map. So this game means nothing. We'll have to see how it goes once the humans have adjusted for its unorthodox strategies.
they basically lost most of their army in one big battle and didn't have the time and production to leverage the economic advantage and come back from that blow.

not sure why you are so hyped, when basically the same happened 7 years ago with AlphaStar on SC2.
