So I've been experimenting on ladder trying to make my 2v2 triple hatch work in 1v1. It's working. It's working so hard to it's bringing kids to tears.

tl;dr most popular topic on blizz right now is how broken my ZvP is. even if the majority of people say the kid was just bad

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

When I watched the replay I only noticed that he always had a terrible position to fight in especially in front of your natural. There he had 180 degrees roaches around him and when he made good forcefields, he just walked his army closer to the fields to make sure your roaches can all attack again.

I was shocked that you were even in eco even with slightly misplaced natural hatch and that massive ling sacrifice to keep the toss in his base.

He also didn't transitioned into robo when he should have done that when he saw that you go for mass roaches (instead he continued to fight and let his army melt). I think in a defensive position he could have hold out pretty well until he gets out 3 immortals to melt the roaches.

I like how your ling aggression made him build a ton of sentries delaying his tech. :D

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
