🤙🏾

I'm talking about Floor Gun Trap etc. Is it some kind of special player? Just curious because they seem to be hostile to everyone unless you give them to a specific player.

I think they belong to neutral or something... Maybe they belong to P9 or one of the other players that don't function properly.

Funny stuff happens when you right click them in SCMDraft and press 'convert to terrain', though.

As they are doodads, I think that they belong to the map. If you want to know how to turn them off, then you just put a location over them and make a trigger that disables their doodad state at the location.

I'm not sure in SCMD, but in StarEdit(the editor that belongs to SC itself) it does belong to a specific player. Normally, it belongs to the player that was selected in the 'player' box above.

Not sure if this was implicitly clear: You can use this method to find out which player it belongs to. Turn off for P12 or whichever player you suspect (try all 12 if need be) and check ingame if the trigger did go through. Then you found the player number.

They belong to player selected in player box before placing the doodad. All units/buildings/sprites/whatever are assigned that way(in scmdraft2).

Looks like this is it, for a minute there I thought sc1 had a secret Hostile player like wc3/sc2.

Still Napping

Floor/wall traps are placed as units, not as doodads.

Actually, my mistake, it is really players 9 - 11.

Ultraviolet -- just sent you a message on Discord. I suspect you're probably trying to change unit speeds for units that don't use flingy.dat for movement (like any units that walk instead of hovering/flying). You can change their movement to flingy, but they unfortunately look more like they're gliding than walking when you do that.

Symmetry -- EE2, I've been using setdatfile successfully for units.dat and weapons.dat but the flingy changes don't seem to happen
[05:25 pm]
Ultraviolet -- in EE2 you just open DatEdit, go to the flingy tab, and make whatever changes you want. Though if you want to do dynamic shit, you have to use the trigger editor with the setdatfile action. And of course you have to inject your changes when done. Can give more specific troubleshooting advice if you provide more details

Symmetry shouted: why can't I seem to make eud editor change flingy.dat D:
