I just wanted to let my fellow SEN citizens know what kind of corruption is currently ruining their awesome island.
Yes, I would also like the island of SEN to be aware of the corruption present, which I have attempted to curb both diplomatically and then forcefully. However, the corrupt self-serving Payne refuses to listen to the people, or to be reasoned with in any capacity.
He is so greedy and determined to focus only on his own desires that he would rather attempt to publicly misconstrue a perfectly harmless comment out-of-context than actually take a moment to negotiate an outcome that is best for everyone.
This is the entirety of my attempted negotiation, which clearly demonstrates the great willingness I had to work out favorable terms for everyone, especially payne.
As the elected representative of the SRP, I am contacting you in regards to passing a bill which helps your policies.
I propose the following bill:
+Morality
+Economy
-Technology
-Freedom
Please respond to let me know if you would gain/lose points or break even. If you would gain points, then I suppose this would be acceptable for you.
However, do not submit this bill yet, even if it is good for you. I have not cleared this with other members of the SRP yet. I need to know if it works for you first, then I will contact them.
I never asked to be part of the SRP.

You are not, nor will you ever be, a member of the SRP. We have the maximum number of members.
However, if you do not work out favorable terms with us, we will ensure you do not pass your bill.
If you don't want to end up with -100 points by the end of the game, you might consider your next response a bit more carefully.
Shall the SRP suck my dick then.

As you can see, payne has refused from the beginning to be civil, helpful, or provide any feedback whatsoever. My comment to him was merely a statement of fact; if you do not work out favorable terms with a majority of players, you will end up with a negative score in the triple digits, because your bills will never be passed, and your favored policies will be entirely overlooked.
In order to ensure this kind of corruption does not spread, I will state the following:
Anyone who is voting "yes" for payne's bill at the time of its deadline will have their own bill vetoed. This is only for the duration of this year, as I would like to give him the opportunity to reform. Stopping this kind of behavior, like the underhanded leaking of private conversations taken out-of-context to smear an elected official, is exactly what the SRP is trying to change. We want a government that is to-the-point, one that is for the people, not for themselves.
I implore payne to reflect on the abuse of his position, to look back down the dark road he has traveled and to choose a path more brightly lit to walk in the future. I would like to reopen negotiations with you for next year payne, and hope that you can be more willing to reason, to have a conversation rather than simply stating your demands. Please, from now on consider acting in a way that is best for the people of SEN, instead of just yourself.
I look forward to working something out with you in the future that is as fair for you as everyone else
