wth is starcraft

Another forum I'm apart of has this thread and its fun. Pretty much, anything older than current generation is part of "oldest games"...so no 360, Wii, PS3, DS, PSP...etc...games.

I just received the game .hack//infection in the mail, so I was playing that before work. We got .hack//sign one year for Christmas because my dad didn't realize it was the third title in the set...I just now found infection at a reasonable price on eBay D:

Pokemon Yellow! first game I got in my life! Still haven't caught them all. :P
The graphics are so simple and the lack of running makes traveling so slow. It's glorious.

I'm gonna assume SC:BW is redundant right? We've all played it semi-recently?

Woah

I have the first .hack game. I enjoyed it a lot, but I wish it really was an MMO. :(

I haven't played any "old" games in a while. Everything has been from the PS3 generation onward.

Lord of the Locker Room

Earthbound.

Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

Just Here For The Pie

I want to say StarCraft, but it might be looked down upon.

Recently Resident Evil 4 was rendered to High Definition and re-released on the Xbox 360. So, I played that.
Old game on a current system, I am still a little unclear of the rules here.

I've played and beaten this game like ten times, and it still never gets old when I'm bored.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
